We have the pleasure to introduce to you MODERN CARPENTRY AND DECORATION FACTORIES LTD. CO. (M.C.D.F., Ltd. Co), a Saudi Company operating since 1983 based on the original MODERN CARPENTRY AND DECORATION FACTORY. In 1993 MODERN CARPENTRY AND DECORATION FACTORIES LTD. CO. was established as founded by its President and Managing Director, Mr. AGOP N. WAZIRIAN establishing it with foreign investment.

The wise leadership of its President and Managing Director, Mr. AGOP N. WAZIRlAN , developed the Company starting with a total of 15 employees to over 270 employees with two branches. With his technical expertise in the fields of woodworks and wood products for over 45 years, he had embodied this experience to the organization, pursued excellence in his work, doing hands-on training of workers and staff, pursued research of new technologies, maintained contacts with people concerning his trade which is feared most by his competitors.

Our original factories to date are situated in the Second Industrial Area in the heart of Riyadh with three (3) separate sections comprising the main carpentry and assembly area, the painting/finishing and packing area equipped with separate painting booths/rooms and a warehouse of all our raw materials with a floor area of over 7,000 sq. m. The factory sits on 7,500 sq. m. grounds thus making it the biggest ground and production areas compared to our other factories. It is composed of offices, main carpentry areas, finishing/painting and packing sections, with a total built area of 6,000 sq. m.

In April 1997, MODERN CARPENTRY AND DECORATION FACTORIES LTD. CO. under the direction of MR. AGOP N. WAZIRIAN was awarded by Publicaciones de Comercio International S.A, the INTERNATIONAL GRAND PRIX TO THE BEST IMAGE OF INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE FOR YEAR 1997 in Madrid, Spain.

In 1990, we have established a branch in the Western region located in Kilo 14 Old Makkah Road, Jeddah, situated in a 5,000 sq. m. grounds comprising the main carpentry factory, painting and finishing areas, and warehouse and open storage. It has areas for "serigraphy works," and Resin Casting facilities. It also has areas for bachelors' accommodation and for married employee apartments.

It has separate offices for the manufacturing and trading departments for its managers and staff. The Jeddah Factory's average monthly turnover is about $ 180,000.00 but it has produced a maximum output of about $ 400,000.00 in the span of one month. We are one of the pioneers to use Medium Density Fiber (MDF) Board in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia~ hence we were in the Trading business of MDF boards in the Middle East for big MDF manufacturers. We were also at one time marketing various special wood paints, veneers and exotic species of solid wood around the Kingdom and in the Gulf areas.

Our factories are geared in executing high quality custom-built items of various materials and exotic specie of wood veneers, the best-found around Africa, North America, South Asia and Europe for a selected clientele. However, we have our capabilities in standard production of woodworks as seen on our long list of executed projects, which shall be made available upon request.

Specialized veneering works of various exotic species of wood such as bird's eye maple, cherry, pear, walnut and burl veneers of different kinds, shapes and colors. In laid veneering works (marquettrie) of classical and modern designs using the most exotic available around the world. Silk- screening (Serigraphy) by photographic processes in wood of various exotic colors using the latest ink technology. Gilding (gold leaf) using 24 Karat pure gold or silver or bronze using European gilding techniques. Resin mould making with various designs, shapes and inlays in gilded or painted finish. Decorative glass and mirrors such as polishing, beveling, tempering, with sandblasted or etched designs. Done in mono-level or multi-level designs to suit two-dimensional (2D) or three-dimensional (3D) effects on glass and mirrors including silk screening and gilding on glass and mirrors. Decorative metal works such as handrails, relief, balustrades, etc. in brass, bronze, silver or gold. Electro-plating works of various decorative metals in gold, silver, bronze or brass.

Our machinery for heavy and medium duty works is set-up for custom-built items of woodworks as most of our works are geared for such works, instead of standard series line. We have several handheld tools for special veneering works such as marquettrie veneering in which we specialize. We do special finishes also in our painting section such as deep-lacquering using nitro-cellulose paints, poly-urethane and polyester finishes. We likewise do "serigraphy" works in projects we execute using the latest silkscreen technology on woodworks. We also do installation works of all our production in the site and just supply finished products as other factories of our size, which means we do mostly TURNKEY works for various interior decoration works.

Our factories have years of experience in interior decorative woodworks for palaces, buildings and complexes such as doors, windows, built-in cupboards, handrails and other fitted wall joineries. We specialize also in decorative brass-works such as handrails, brass inlays and special handles. We do a lot of glassworks and mirrors like etching, sandblasting and coloring. We have electroplating facilities, compliments of our woodworking facilities.

Our Engineering and Decoration Department / Staff is one of the biggest compared to other carpentry factories of our size in the Middle East, experienced and trained for various woodworks decoration and production technology, taking care of the minutest detail that may be required in any woodworks decoration project. This staff backs-up all our projects and are always available at all times, 24 hours a day, around the Kingdom to any part of the Middle East, wherever the project may be.
